From the start when I installed 2.8, there has always been more then 700 available filter in my G'MIC that I noticed.
I've only recently had this issue concerning the Mighty Details filter.
Also, this is the first time I've refreshed G'MIC since the installation of Partha's 2.8 on Friday, ‎March ‎21, ‎2014.
There are supposedly 711 available G'MIC filters.

There is indeed more than 700 filters available, even in newer versions.
The only difference is that newest versions do not count filters in Testing/ anymore.
Even if some of these filters are actually usable, they are in Testing for a good reason
