...itself. I know there would be limitations since PS supports adjustment layers and such, but PS's layer properties and G'MIC's layer properties are more closely aligned. Also, with respect to CMYK embeded jpegs, if you open it in GIMP, you won't get the right result, but if you would allow g'mic to decode and translate before importing to GIMP, you would get a better result. One other thing is is it possible for g'mic to export jpeg with CMYK embedded color profile. There's been a lot of request for CMYK support (mainly from those needing this for press reasons I'm assuming) and GIMP won't ever support CMYK as needed. I say, why not use G'MIC as a distiller of sorts. Just a thought. :)

Well, that would be a lot of work. Maybe possible, but who wants to do that ?
That doesn't look like a sexy task :)
