Deleted my Gimp Release Candidate 1 and install RC2. Then install GMIC into it. GMIC was not greyed out and had a path to it. It crashed on opening.

What i did was remove the GMIC-qt folder from the Gimp/2.0/plug-ins directory and re installed Davids version. Worked fine after that. Had to do this for Gimp-2.10.38 but not for RC2 for some reason. :)

Davids new release of GMIC for Gimp-3.0-RC2 worked fine out the gate.

Just FYI, I've released a small update, with version 3.5.2, that fixes some network access bug for Windows users.

Hi,
glad you managed to compile the git version of gmic. Can you explain how you managed to eliminate the errors you cited in your post #11, from Tue Dec 31, 2024 9:59 pm please?
Indeed I have the same error as you, when I type the "make" command --> "make: *** [Makefile:1239: .obj/host_gimp.o] Error 1"

thanks in advance
