Our yearly G'MIC recap is out!

=> https://gmic.eu/gmic40/

Beyond the 4.0 release announcement, this article dives into a year of work behind the scenes:

- New filters in G'MIC-Qt (Pixel Stretch, Marker Drawing, Heightfield Warp...)
- The variational color transfer algorithm, with its guided mode
- New core commands, creative coding scripts, the gmic-interactive-demos repo, and more

Don't miss it! :jumpclap :gimp

Definitely some great stuff with 4.0x, David. Particularly like the new Marker Drawing preset. Hard to believe it's been 18 years now. Before G'MC, I've been using the GREYCstoration preset for fake smudge work as I recall and someone even added GPU acceleration to create a PS plugin that using GREYC. Still hoping one day GPU could be added to G'MIC, but I understand it's a matter of resource allocations. :)
