Never thought of it as being atomic, just dotty. Golly, maybe I'll glow in the dark. :tehe

Use the same preset on multiple passes just changing either the size/color of the dot, position of the dot or both. That's how I did it (based on David's, the creator of G'MIC, input). Also, see the link below for a result using Pixelator (scroll to top of that link for a link to the free Open Source Java based program). :)

Now when you say multiple passes what do you mean and how do you change the position of the dots?? I figured out the size and color.

thank you

After you run the first pass (just left that G'MIC's default), I run it again, but change the color and size. Your can also play with the position sliders to shift where the dots get placed and also the Density (the frequency of the dots) as needed too. :)

Lyle: If I knew what I was talking about, I'd be game to make that video. But to me, nothing is more embarrassing than trying to explain something that I know nothing about. I'm just a monkey: I see a series of steps and I duplicate them. When it doesn't work for me, and I can't understand why, I'm just blind leading the blind.

That video took all of 1 minute to make using Kazam, which even exported the video to YouTube for me. I just want to help people in any way I can. Micki can now use your text and compare to the video and hopefully it all falls into place. :)
