Just wish G'MIC had the wrap feature that Mathmap has.

So, I've created a copy (in
Testing/Souphead) called
Testing Droste which implements the edge wrap, reflect and rotate. To be clearer, it's the options that appear on the Settings tab that come with all MATHMAP filters as below:

At the bottom of the test filter, I put an option to switch on and off anti-aliasing (on by default) and to pick one of "wrap", "reflect" or "rotate" for X and Y edges. I didn't implement the color pick option because I can't get it to work. If someone can show me how they work with Droste, I can implement it - maybe.
One thing to note is that sometimes the edge may be visible because of the anti-aliasing. In that case, switch the anti-aliasing off.
Here is a quick look:

The top left is the original output with Blank/Blank. As you can see, there is a load of black (out of range) space. The top right is with Reflect for the X edge and blank for the Y edge. The lower left is with blank for X edge and Reflect for Y edge and finally, the lower right is reflect for both.
You can also get some interesting effect by sending one through again. This one below is the X edge with reflect sent in with again to Droste with both X and Y edges with reflect:

Anyway, try it out and if nobody finds any problems, I'll update the "real" one in a few days.
