I keep getting error messages for a few of the G'Mic Filter options.

For Artistic > Rodilius:
***Error in ./gimp_rodilius/apply_channels/../*local/convolve_fft/*repeat/*local/***[instance(0,0,0,0,00000000,non-shared)] gmic<float>::gmic(): Failed to allocate memory (303.8Mio) for image (5760,4608,1,3).

I was able to use other filters in that category, such as Colored Pencil, Color Stamp, Color Sketch, Cartoon, etc. Some are working and some are giving this error message. Is there a way I can resolve this?

What version of GMIC are you using?

Rodilius needs a lot of memory and you ran out. Try with a smaller image or install more ram and make sure you are using the 64-bit version.

I think it's a memory issue, some filters need more resources. G'MIC can handle large files it's up to your available memory. Downsizing your image will help.

It worked fine on my laptop, then I got a new desktop. I re-installed the new version of GIMP and today I re-installed G'Mic for Windows. I will try it at a smaller size. Thank you for replying.

In preferences you can change the number of processors to use.
