interactive extract foreground error

gmic_gimp_gtk/qt/ & 1.8.0pre - Gimp 2.8.20 - Kubuntu 16.04 64bit

Contours - Extract Foreground (interactive)

I get this error

Can anyone duplicate that?

An older 1.7.9pre works ok.

I get the same error. GIMP 2.8.20. G'MIC-Qt-2.0.0_pre#170410. Ubuntu 16.04 64 bit.

I Concur with Windows 10 64 bit. Same error results. Works with 1.7.9

What happens when you remove transparency (Remove Alpha Channel) from original layer?

I had a problem wit G'MIC Curves (Colors>Curves). When I removed Alpha Channel, it worked.

But this is not as is it supposed to work.

Confirmed on pre-version 2.0.0.
I've tried a quick fix, could you please update your filters and tell me if that is working now ?

Yes, that is working on updating the filters, both gmic_gimp_gtk and qt.

Best advice, forget gmic and enjoy the rest of your holiday

. Very envious, I see the temperature in Crete is a nice 19°C

I won't lie, I do enjoy my stay in Crete very much

It's a beautiful island and we are lucky enough with the weather these days.
