I have mine like this: After I downloaded the ZIP folder and extracted the files, I place the "Whole Folder" into my user gimp directory: C:\Users\Pocholo\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins\gmic_gimp_qt.

Go to: Edit> Preferences, click on the "Folders" dropdown and then Plug-ins. Click on the little icon Page and the click on the Folder icon on the right and another window will popup.

From the left side choose your User Gimp directory: YourName\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins\gmic_gimp_qt.

After that close Gimp and Re-start Gimp and you will have it on the Filters menu.

First, please. Gimp 2.10 no longer requires adding a folder to the plug-in paths providing the folder is the same name as the plugin. so for gmic_gimp_qt.exe the folder name is gmic_gimp_qt

Next, why is no plugin showing? Using a 32 bit Windows? The 32 bit gmic installer is broken.

Installed gmic looks like this.

Should look like this.

Solution use the zip file https://gmic.eu/files/windows/gmic_gimp ... _win32.zip for 32 bit installations.
64 bit Windows, use the installer, that is all you have to do.

Thank you Pocholo for your detailed answered!
As you said rich2005 it was a problem of the 32 bit installation, I just copied the files of which you provided the link and now it is working! Thank you soo much!!

Hello, I've recently downloaded the latest version of Gimp and I want to add G'mic to it. Problem is when I go to the G'mic website and click on 'download' nothing happens? does anyone know if there is a problem with the download link? I've tried it with Edge, Chrome and IE but it's still not working? Help :)
