Lorri, did you just make this? When I loaded it, it came up listed with the default name "GIMP brush pipe". I only get one weird looking image that repeats. I opened the brush and saw all the layers and I'm thinking you didn't set all the parameters so the other layers show up randomly.

http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/Custom_Brushes/Make the "rank" setting match the number of "cells" or images you use to make your brush. Otherwise it only uses one image layer. I did the same thing when I made my first one with multiple images. Make sure when you save it to change the name as well. Not only does the brush have a file name but it also has a brush name that shows up in the brush dialog.
