I've been batch processing all my Paint Shop Pro formatted files (masks, tubes, gradients, shapes) to use in GIMP. I plan to create a storage area on my server to make them all available, when I am done. In the meantime, feel free to use this one.

Did you add the drop shadow or is that how the butterflies came Mahvin (prefer to add shadow effect afterwards, but I can see that if you have overlapping butterflies that having embedded drop shadow is benificial)? Just curious. I played with the butterfly brush (have several now, but this is the first one that has such a variety of butterflies in one brush; lol) and do like it. Keeping it in my brush backup file for now for future use. Thanks for sharing; look forward to seeing your other tube conversions.

I'm still adding animated brushes as I convert them. It's not as easy as just dropping a file onto a server. I wish there was a script that could take alpha png files and convert them to .gih, that would be so awesome. Rob A made one for scanned images, not sure if that would work in this case.

I'm having a slight problem picking which tubes to convert, because some of them are so cheesy, and well, I'm all about quality over quantity. (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. Especially if you have $4.3 million to throw around)

My apologies for anyone who downloads the tubes and find them sort of mismatched in identification, etc. I am naming the files according to the content, for whatever reason they aren't sticking, I have no idea. I am also leaving them at their default settings (whether they are incremental or random, etc), because its a time consuming process just to separate the cells, name them, make zips, post them, etc. I figured that if people wanted a few of them, most of the hard work is already done, and all you would be required to do is change the description to suit yourself, and change the rank settings.

Just so that everyone knows this, not all the files from PSP are magically dividing into perfectly sized cells, I have to resize most of them prior to converting them to brushes.

Mahv, I haven't had this happen before I didn't have any problem with the first one. I named it butterflies.gih When I paint with it, it goes to a different butterfly every time.
Now, the rest of them won't do that. Here is an example, The second one with the animals, The brush shows all the different animals but when you paint with it I just get the one, (the tan colored camel).

I don't open my brushes to use them, Molly. I run them from the dialog, one click of the mouse gives me one layer of the brush, just like all the other .gih brushes. In other words, there is nothing special about these brushes that makes them any different than any other brush, just that they are converted PSP brushes that came with PSP 10.

Try opening the brush, re-save it (Choose Save As, not Save), and when it asks to replace, click yes, then change the rank from random to incremental, and save. Try again. As I said before, there is nothing unique about these brushes that should make them flub up any differently than any other brush.
