Main assumptions of publishing an action (Save settings to file - as json):
1. We create an action in English. Created in your native language, it may be incomprehensible to others.



2. One action, one post starting with the action name (Text in Bold, Font size: Large).
3. Description of what the action does.
4. If you are using a plugin/script for a procedure that is not part of the standard installation (you added it to scripts or plug-ins yourself), indicate this and share the required file or provide an up-to-date download link.
5. A screenshot of the Edit Layers window after loading the action is welcome.
6. We post the action as a zipped file.
7. If you improve (change or expand) your action, do not create an additional post, just edit the original one.

Other suggestions are welcome.

Each action consisting of at least two Gimp procedures may be useful for other users.
Also for Filters or Plugins ONE procedure can be interesting because it will save unusual interesting settings (which solves the loophole in Gimp how to save your favorite plugin setting and how easy it is to share it with others).

PS has over 1000 actions saved and shared - I wonder if GIMP users will want to publish their settings???

Scale & Crop

Removes the extension from the layer name, scales to the selected size, crops and saves the changed layers as files.

This may be unnecessary (because it's a very simple example), but I'll add some additional information to post #2.

Rename to "[layer name, %n]"
Removes the extension from the layer name.

gimp-layer-scale
Scale the layer using the default interpolation method


gimp-image-autocrop
Remove empty borders from the image

Export as PNG
Exports a layer to the specified file format.

Quick Pattern Editor.

Creates unlimited patterns of your choice, size and name, with your chosen effect (you can only select some effects), saves the file to the Patterns directory (edit where to save files) and refreshes the patterns (allowing them to be used immediately).

Spherification

Scales layers to a specified size and sphericalizes them.

If you change the values in scaling:
New layer width=x
New layer height=y
you must also change the first two values in G'MIC:
fx_map_sphere x,y,95,0.5,-23.6,200,20,0,0,0,2.01
