Maybe it is an idea to put plugins for Gimp 3.0 in a separate group. I mean here on this site.Because I always have to search

Why not ? Anything to make things easier. When Gimp 2.10 moved the User profile I started using a separate folder for resources - not just plug-ins, but scripts , fonts , patterns .... Plugins like gmic which come with a Windows installer, let them use the default but if you have to install manually, easier if you do not need that appdata/roaming nonsense.

What you do not want to do, as is sometimes seen here, is a separate path for each-and-every plugin

A bit easier with linux than Windows, for example this for my Gimp 3.0 plug-ins

I was going to suggest the same. Perhaps a new board under gimp scripts and plugins?

For instance - Gimp-3.0 resources?

Most of my plugins work on GIMP 2.10 and GIMP 3, so what am I suppose to do?

And infact virtually all of my plugins would work on 2.10 if one manually compiles `gegl:bevel` and `gegl:inner-glow` that GEGL 0.4.50 has. I might as well put them in the GIMP 3 category because I want people to use GIMP 3 anyway for a better experience with my plugins.

I would say just keep placing them into the thread you have going Beaver. ;)
And as you have in the past warn if they will not work in Gimp-2.10 versions.

That would be fine.

I guess I don't understand what's going on.
In Gimp 2.10.38 Win10 64bit Bevel and Inner-Glow seem to work fine.

By the way, have you tried it?

I'm not talking about those. Of course they work fine

I'm talking about the official bevel and inner glow that ship with GIMP 3. They do not use `lb:` they use `gegl:`

Personally, I prefer lb:innerglow over `gegl:inner-glow` as it does more and doesn't have the "clip at the legs issue". However, I usually use gegl:bevel over the `lb:bevel, lb:custom-bevel, lb:sharp-bevel` filters just because it does all three in one and it has a better faster chamfer bevel algorithm then lb:sharp-bevel.

Still GEGL Effects depends on `lb:bevel` and `lb:innerglow` and will never depend on the official bevel and inner glow.

Regarding Grok,

No, I have not prompted Grok on Math map and after using him for a month he is actually quite limited only knowing how to draw shapes, gradients, patterns, distortion maps and lighting filters. Regarding GEGL plugins Grok fails 90% of the time and its a slow process of weeding out his mistakes and locking him into parameters that work.

For now on I will call those plugins "Official GEGL Bevel" and "Official GEGL Inner Glow" to distinguish them
