I installed the latest version from https://kamilburda.github.io/batcher/docs/installation/

First the plug-ins folder didn't exist.
Then I created the plug-ins folder and put the batcher folder in there.

Then I follow the instructions File > batcher

But that doesn't exist, i.e something is wrong.

View hidden files in folder is on ofc.

I'm at my wits end, I just want to upload pictures to a website and not have them show up sideways even though it's not sideways.
So I learned I have to edit the exif data or scrub it, gimp can do this but doing this 1 a time is insanely tedious so I wanted to find a batch option.

I've already spent so many hours getting to this part, my brain wants to explode.

Why isn't the batcher showing up? What am I doing wrong.
How do I use the batcher?

Always dangerous to say something does not work without adding for me

First a question, is Gimp 3 a regular install from http://www.gimp.org or from somewhere else or a portable version ?

A portable version has its own plugins folder but for a regular Gimp:

Edit -> Preferences -> Folders Expand the list and find the plug-ins entry . Click on that and it shows the paths to the folder(s) Choose the "...AppData\Roaming... entry and you can open that directly from Gimp using the top right icon which opens Explorer.

Keep that open, right click on Downloads to open a new Explorer window, and click on Batcher zip to open and drag the batcher folder into the plug-ins. Restart Gimp
....and as a 2 minute video https://youtu.be/K3r5u9H0Gx8
