I don't know why the watermark file widget is missing I don't think I have control over that maybe it's not fully built. like they don't have a widget for directory path selection...yet.
I don't know if the later version having un underscore on one of the parameter does anything different (I thought it was for short cut key to jump to that label or something not sure why they have underscore).

I just estimated that if you save even just 3 seconds each time you add watermark.
Using this plug-in will save you 3 hours a year if you add just 10 watermark per working day.

and we'll let notebooklm yap about it hehe

According to ChatGPT, a Photo Editor can manually add watermark anywhere from 100-300 images/day.
So if they save 3 seconds then that's anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes /day saved. hahahah
That's 21.6 to 65 hours/year
With currently 142 downloads, if they're all photo Editors that do 200 images a day after 1 year we'd save about 2.95 years of full time work hahaah I am sick about these numbers.

I found this link about the Gimp mnemonic messages.

I knew it, it does have something to do with the underscores.

The underscores are there to indicate which letter to use if you do not want to do things with a mouse, but with your keyboard.
So .... if you have a parameter called "width" and you write in your script "w_idth" that would indicate that by using the "i" on your keyboard you can activate that parameter. So far, the theory.
Now GIMP dialogues complain when there is no such mnemonic because it is supposed to be there because of accessibility.
So if GIMP complains here, it's nothing serious, just a reminder.

BTW .... it also complains if there are two of the same letters marked ,-).

Anybody who knows better, please correct what I wrote.

528 dls?
That's like 16.5 years per year of time saved (if every download was for a photo editor that heavily watermarks things hahaha)

I've noticed the download counts going up dramatically in the last week all over this website. I have several theories on why, but I have no idea on the actual. Perhaps there's an error in the website's download counter.

The download counter is clearly broken.
In the test of 1 download, the counter even increased by 111.
There is also another bug - you can upload files with the same name multiple times (this was not possible until recently).

I had a silly idea that the GIMP 3 release generated so much hype that a bunch of normies came and just started downloading everything like clueless click and download monkeys but that hypothesis isn't supported as it appears the download counter is broke.

LOL... I got 23,000 downloads of this image. Which makes absolutely no sense at all. :)

Thanks once more MQ.
:bigthup

There is nothing available to me that I can use,
that will fix the download counter issue.
I've contacted Omega about this.

The download counter seems to work correctly here running Linux / FireFox. A test download only increased by one, as expected.

As for the plugin, it works well in PPA version of Gimp 3.0 RC1 here.
