Hi, I don't know why but today the NL Filter is disabled.
I emptied the cache, restarted GIMP more than once, restarted the mac but it is always disabled.
I didn't change anythin gon this mac recently so I cannot realize what it is happening to this filter that i often use.
Any suggestion?

Maybe the image has an alpha channel - if it has turn it off.

One of the most common reason the NL Filter is suddenly grayed out in GIMP,
is that the active layer now has an alpha channel (transparency),
or the image is in Indexed mode.
The NL Filter won't run in either case.

Sure, it depended by the fact that some days ago I enabled to add an alpha channel at the opening of an image in the preferences, I didn't know that it could impact on some plugin.
Thank you very much for your help.
