I'm a new member to this forum, and what I seek the most, are ways to fully unleash the possibilities of what this software can do, and since I'm a total n00b, all I can rely on is the knowledge of others here on this forum who have had much more time to find the results I look for my projects. If it wasn't for members like you on these forums, then they wouldn't be much to these forums, as they are a way to share ideas/methods that are positive to the use of said software. I'm not bashing other aspects of this forum (ie project presentations/works in progress, etc.), because it shows what one can do with Gimp.
Already, others have helped me in achieving what I need to move my RC car project along (will show you guys the results, so stay tuned!), so having knowledgeable members are INVALUABLE to a forum. Trust me, I'm a member in other forums in the RC world, and new members need our help.

My younger children have been on summer vacation for the last several weeks, making it virtually impossible to link two consecutive thoughts without interruption. The time I would normally have to tinker with GIMP has been temporarily usurped. I anticipate more time for tutorials and GIMP in general after Labor Day. As others have stated, do not stop posting tutorials. Do it for your own pleasure. You're excellent with GIMP and you obviously enjoy working with it. Some of us just aren't quite as adept with it. It takes us more time to understand the method to the madness. If all we do is follow steps we don't learn as much as if we take the time to understand what each step is doing. Keep Gimping, my friend. We will catch up.

I enjoy looking at your tuts conbagui. I'm not one that really tries out the tuts too much, unless I'm looking for something in particular. Tut on, haha.

Keep the tutorials coming please. I am slowly getting familiar with Gimp. Just yesterday I followed a really cool tutorial flaming text effect made with Gimp.

I enjoy and look forward to your tutorials, and use them quite often.
