he4rty: you must be the only person in my wide acquaintance who would base a gimp gradient on the fibonacci sequence ! they're lovely, just my colours and i have added it to my growing collection of gradients.
2-ton: my first ever meeting with the gimp gradient editor was actually a failed attempt to make the same gradient you made .
esper: no beam effect in that one!

here's my contribution, i made it especially to put behind/around heads in my pictures (like a halo) and it's called "prettiest halo in town".

How about this gradient. I stretched the Gradient Editor window out to my second monitor, still could not see any gaps (segments)
between color sliders. Probably, a couple hundreds of segments there, lol.

That is one of the Solankii gradients
Graechan uses them for frames in his Gradient Frames script.

You would think it should be smooth as silk, alas, 'Cool but not smooth' (from the Bud Light tv commercial)

I thought you made it yourself, I never realized that the gimp one had the black shading on the outer edges.

Here is my gradient. I call it sunset, under a b/w seascape.
There are some nice gradients here but it seems we cannot upload .ggr files for sharing.

@Akros: I create the gradient by myself, but you`re right there are three similar default gradients.
That was probably random. I do not need anyone to deceive.

You are quite right, it looks like the inside of a smoked salmon or trout.

i think its because you tried to upload the file, instead you must attach it

use the upload option BELOW the post reply box

If that doesn't work,try right clicking and compress it.
