mind to follow exactly the instrution to install, and that is a instable version, and has not a installer

And that many extra filters and script will not work, not for errors in how was compiled but because many filters will need to be updated to work with gimp 2,8 and that is a sort of preview of 2,8

Yes with this version you can get a feel of what the new Cage Transform Tool, layer groups, single window mode, and the new text tool have to offer.Plus much more.
