Can anyone tell me anything about the scripts on FX-Foundry please.

What do you want to know? There is good and bad.

Good = some very useful scripts in the package.
Bad = lots of conflicts with duplicates when trying existing scripts that are "hidden" in the Foundry package. The way the Foundry names the scripts and registers them makes it hard when you find a script under a different name but has the same register definition.

If you download the packaged set, make sure to bookmark the archive list so you can re-visit to locate files by author and name.

Thanks for that mahvin....I just stumbled across it today and saw so many scripts there...dont recall seeing a package though...So if you had so many would it slow down the GIMP in loading and reacting?? As you can tell I'm not that technically minded...I suppose I am mainly wondering if there is any use in it all for me.

IMO, to download a package of scripts and install them all is not a good idea. FX-Foundry has a habit of changing the scripts and the location to suit themselves. As mahvin said, there are good scripts in there and not so good ones.

A good place to browse for scripts is the Registry. http://registry.gimp.org/
