Introduction (PauliOpa)

Hi, I started today to look into the Gimp Program. I tried some other grafic n photo progs (there are a lot of such freeware and shareware units around, I tried Photoshop n Ligthroom a bit, but I think I will use Gimp and go more into it.

I used PhotoImpact up to version X3 but Corel "eat" Ulead a while ago and stopped support.

Hopefully my "desires and needs" will work with Gimp (v2.8...).

I am an Austrian guy (no cangaroos... :clap

), 70 years old and a freak concerning computer, especially making homepages (most php/MySQL) but I found recently a Prog "GetSimple" for Homepages (easy admin..., no database), and because one need also pictures and grafics (e.g. cut out objects, etc), I will go more into this Gimp features.
