...drop a few words. I haven't done much here yet, though I've peeked in quite a few times.

I've been using the GIMP for quite a few years, mostly the Windows port. Nearly a month ago I abandoned Windows for a cozy home in Debian. Now I have greater GIMPness than ever before. :geek

My computer (known to his friends as SilentBob) and I reside in the frozen land of Wisconsin. My day-job is at a drop-in mental health resource center, where I keep the computers happy, herd data, edit the newsletter, and sometimes shovel snow. At home, I do odd jobs involving graphic art, web design and computer repair. and write novels when I'm in the mood. And shovel snow.

When I can't think of anything else to do, I GIMP.

Welcome Matera,
I live in an area of Australia where it never snows and in fact have never shovelled snow in my life.
So I have no excuses to have a lot more Gimping time than you. ;)

Looking forward to seeing the results of your Gimping if you feel so inclined to share.
