Hi, I am 70+ and retired and have adopted GIMP as my main astro image editor. For which purpose I have written many python plug-ins. Some of these have turned out to be quite useful (and some less so!), so I have gathered them into a package I call 'Py-Astro for GIMP'. They have been available online for some time. However, the recent upgrade of GIMP to version 3 and the shift from Python 2.7 to 3.0 has rendered much of what I have done obsolete, so I have started the process of rewriting. This is proving to be a difficult task, so I have joined this forum in the hope of finding some answers. So watch out for some tricky questions!

Stargazy.

Would love to try some of your scripts. Welcome to Gimp Chat!
There are some very talented Python scriptwriters here at GC. Already they are delving into Gimp-3 python filters.
So ask away and i am sure you will get all the help you desire. :)
