Hello my names Mike, and I've been using Gimp ever sense I was 12, and I'm now 18, and turning 19 February 13th, so it's been 6 years of designing for me in the Gimp, and coming close to 7 years.

I'm more for graphic, and web designing, but I've been working on painting (still have a lot of work to do), 3d designing, and photo manipulations. Alongside Gimp I also use Blender for 3d modeling, as well as video production. I'm also getting into producing music, in which I use LMMS (Linux Multimedia Studio) for that process, and Audacity as an audio editor.

You can view my gallery here, and the images below are some designs I've created over the years.

Welcome Mike. Lot of GIMPTalk folk are here too. I know GIMPTalks been down again for a few days. Since I've joined GIMPChat , it has not been down. lol

I know I shouldn't be mean about it. Anyway, GnuTux keeps us going.

Mike! I'm glad to see you here.

for the welcome! I'm glad I see some familiar faces here. I don't like how the site is arranged to be honest as the forums are all in one category instead of being categorized, but maybe I can arrange to this.

Hopefully this will be my new home, I already like it already

It grows on you. There is categories at the bottom page, but the beauty that I see of this forum is that it keeps the most recent post at eye distance and that causes you to partipate more (help one day, art another time, and plugin share the next). I tended to really concentrate on the art side (and some help) at GIMPTalk, but here, I've broadened my horizons more.

I love the recent posts on the top, GimpTalk I just stuck with commenting others art and giving my criticism, and help as well, but that's it. That'll change here though
