Hi all !

My name is Christian and from germany.
I use GIMP for like maybe one year, when i looked for an alternative to Paint.NET.
Wasnt an easy learning curve, but i can be pretty obsessive when it comes to stuff i really want to learn !
So i practised with lots and lots of tutorials, mostly stuff on youtube, but also deviant-art or really anything i could find, that seemed interesting.
Also im lucky because i have a friend who is a media-designer and good with photoshop, so when i have a question i can always ask him.

Im pretty happy with what i can do at the moment, and i find having fun with GIMP a very satisfying experience.

Mostly i make little pictures to embed my mp3´s with - so basically coverart.

Registered today, because i want to know something about paths versus selections, but for some reason i cant upload pictures.
Do you need to have a certain amount of posts before you can post pics or what is going on ?
I read the rules, but it seemed there was nothing that said anything like it.
