Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say thank you to the devs and all the really smart people who contribute to this forum.

I recently jailbroke my iphone and creating themes is now by biggest addiction! I had a copy of photoshop on this mac (old powermac G5) when I bought it that I don't think was 100% legal, so I removed it and after a quick search found out about gimp. I found it very easy to use the basics straight away, the only confusion initially was what button to press with C to copy, its the apple key for everything else on the mac, but Cntrl in X11 for gimp. So after a few "wtfs"? its all good.

Still trying to get all the slick effects figured out, rounded shadows in corners for high res icons and such, but I'm getting there.

I've been reading these forums for help for a while without registering, but I had to say thanks eventually.

Thats me, a 34 year old small business owner in Guelph, Ontario. I own a cabinet making and kitchen installation business, so don't have much experience in graphics, or computers, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Thanks again!

Len.
