Hi everybody,

Here's my obligatory first post.

I'm hoping to learn some skills to make my own backgrounds & icons for my phone. I had to register here after reading some of the Draconian Metal Wurx Series. Officially inspired! :yes

Hi Cruxy. Draconian was very good and I learned a lot from him too. Sadly he hasn't been here for a while but thankfully his tutorials are still around. I'll probably go through them again one day.

Glad to have you onboard Cruxy; we have a bunch of great folks here and you will learn a lot and then, you will be at a point to teach us too soon enough.

cruxy: welcome to gc! yep, draconian's metal wurx is a really good tutorial series, i learned loads of new tricks from them! but don't miss the other tutorials on here, so many of them are great for gimp newbies as well as for people with some experience.
