Hello everyone!

My name is MixedPassion for my interests in many areas. I like to call myself a scientist and at the same time an artist. I've been based more in the traditional arts - sketching and music among others - and have only begun learning a more technologically based art. I guess you could say I'm a hobbyist in this regard.

I have only recently begun using GIMP and have found the frustration to learning the program is muting the muse to create the image. Everywhere else I've gone to get answers has seemed either overly complicated or not quite enough. I am hoping to find some help here so I can begin to understand this medium new to me.

Thank you. I look forward to getting to know you.

Thank you everyone (very delayed)!

I'm sorry about my hiatus lately but with life starting to settle, I think I'll be able to get back into GIMP and art.
