Hello from jacie358,When I install Gimp, and it is uploaded to my computer, it is always with a black background. But when I check on youtube, say on layers, their Gimp program is always light (say white). How can I make my Gimp progam white?

Go to Edit > Preferences > Theme

Choose your desired theme. Change icon theme too if you want.

Also, remember than 90% of Gimp tutorials on YouTube have been made with older versions, so the UI can be quite different at times (menus have changed, buttons have moved, etc....)
