Hi everyone, my name is Debbie. I am very new to gimp and an amature, so I'll be asking alot of silly questions, probably. I downloaded gimp last week and need help already. I will post my questions on the correct forums. It's nice to have all of you to help me out, and I appreciate it!

You couldn't find a better bunch of people to hang out with. And about being new to gimp, everybody here was too at one time and have probably asked all the questions that you can ask.

Nice to see a new member posting! Don't worry about asking all sorts of questions...we've all been there, done that!
Which reminds me, I haven't seen our fealess leader, GnuTux, for a while.
