Okay, well, when I download a pattern and put it in the patter folder, restart GIMP and go to the patters, they don't show up. I've asked nearly everyone but no one can ever help me.

And for GAP, I really just want a newb in depth walkthrough on how to download it.

thank you!

Hello Panic Prone!
Which OS and version of Gap are you looking for?
Which format are your pattern files?

That's the thing... i'm looking for whatever GAP that will allow me to make GIFS (do lighting, text, etc to it). And I'm not sure how to tell what my pattern files are. Sometimes I'll download patterns that GIMP users specifically created for GIMP and they still don't work.

I'm kinda confused about it TBH. Thanks for your help. ^_^
