Hi all getting to know my way around gimp some what but still some questions.

I tried searching but still no luck.

I know this isn't the place but still looking for the place.

Trying to figure out how to change the color of a car.
I have changed the hue and saturation and played with that for hours but I want more.
I was wondering if there is a way i can take photo A and take a sample of its color and transfer to photo b.

Anywho... From Iowa, Average computer guy, crazy car nut, just trying to interweave the two.

:tyspin Thanks in advance to any and all help. :gimp

How do you know this isn't the place? There is a LOT of gimp experience here and the people are nice.

You definitely came to the right place! You'll learn a bunch here while having the time of your life!

I would use the eyedropper tool to select the color from the other vehicle, use the paths tool to select the part of the vehicle you want to paint. Then do a path to selection and colorize. This may do it for you.
