Hi,

New member here. Using Gimp for a few weeks now and am addicted.

Been a graphics geek my whole life from using plastic stencils to make signs as a child and spending hours lost in Spirograph.
Went on to spend 15 years in the printing industry. A fun but at times frustrating career. :gaah

Look forward to pursuing the posts here and learning more about Gimp.

A big welcome from me too Jerry. Got into the whole retouching shebang when I was part owner of an offset printing business (with my then father-in-law) over a decade ago. Was using GIMP prior but just is passive interest. Yes, I had little joy creating templates for my father-in-law then. lol

It's time to go beyond the am and fm dither (lpi and stochastic). lol

I admire the fact you managed to persist with Spirograph for so long, I can't think of anything more frustrating.
