@Partha...I've just a cursory look-see so far. I am impressed. It's not crashed once. The python applets or whatever it' called...still popup behind the main screen but I'm livin' with it. Not a biggie. Since I am thinking about it now...I will fire up that D800 file and play around with it.
Yes, some of the plugins popup in the back. You can always find it in the dock though. So, just click on it on the dock if you can't find the popup window.

Ya..I just download the file and opened it without giving much thought to the naming thing if I had a similar file. I figured out the prob..no biggie.
Let me know how it works out.

What I wanted to do was actually try to add some plug-ins and see how that worked. I am confused on the Gimp registry as what 32bit plug-in and what is a 64bit plug-in, cause I thought I had read only 64bit plugs-in would work on your windows version. Did I read that right?
Yes, they are only for Windows though. You will have to get a Mac compiled plugin if you want to try them out. Let me know if you have something in mind. If it's photo related, I might just add it to my "Useful Plugins" offering.

Anyway..I digress. I think in next few days I'll have a good go at it. But so far, I'm lovin it. Stable and fast, even with my hard drive being a questionable external setup
