2.8 for windows is on gimpusers

Three things:
A what is the huge difference between themes on XP and Win 7? They both act WAYYYYYYYY different even on 2.6.12

Why does GMIC succesfully update all the filters but refuse to add the Additional filters?!? Does this on XP and Win7 both 2.6 and 2.8! This is the forth time GMIC has done this to me.

Also why is Brush Dynamics Matrix completely locked out! Can't do crap with it.

I wish I knew the answer to question two also. The last three versions have done the same thing to me. It doesn't update the additional filters, in fact it leaves them off the list and I have to go looking for them in the different categories.

Yes, but you have to go hunting. The metal one is under colors, and I can't remember about the rest cuz I have sort of given up on them when I don't know what to look under. It isn't under Tom Keil's but just colors > Metallic look,

No problem, I addressed this earlier and was told it is the added filter people's responsibility to place them in the correct place.

I agree and disagree but none of my business. Now to figure out why the themes are so different between XP and Win7. I use the same theme: http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2?page=2 : named Darkilouche on XP it looks exactly like that. But on win7 the only thing that changes is the background color and nothing else (On both 2.6 and 2.8) anybody know why?
