Yes, I noticed that yesterday when I installed a flatpak Gimp in a Mint 22 VM

It always takes time for the gimp.org web page to update but for those interested there is a Windows installer and a linux appimage here: https://download.gimp.org/gimp/v3.0/

I do have the Gimp 3.0.6 appimage, I think not much change, some bug fixes - maybe

Thanks for the report. We hope they fix the directory issue for installing plugins, which has been having path issues since version 3. This is still in the Linux version.

If i'm remembering correctly, there is better support for photoshop brushes in this release
