How to change this image to more smooth curve

i want to change pink circle to more smooth curve at arrow point

How can i do that ?

Do you mean so it is smooth all around or just at the arrow points?

For smooth shapes use paths.

Typically you use the original shape as a model to create a path, then Select>From path and bucket-fil the path. See attached XCF.

NOTE
The method shown above,
can be the simplest way to do this,
but it isn't always the best way.

The method as described by Ofnuts,
will most often give you the best results.
However,
working with paths can be difficult for new Gimp users.
Nonetheless,
I do encourage you to explore the use of the Paths Tool whenever possible.

If you make a selection from your shape, you can use "Select->Distort" with a high value of the Smoothing argument (and perhaps a low value for Spread). Once your selection is smoothed, you can create a new layer and bucket fill it with your color.

You need to create selection of the shapes you want, then convert the selections into path.

To convert a selection to a path use: Select>To Path...
This will create a path of any active selection.

The reason that this is very desirable, is that it gives you the ability to adjust the selection by using the path that was created from the selection.
Giving you a smoother line then a selection is capable of.

Working with path can take much effort to master, but once you do, so many options will be opened for you, which can make many things that seem impossible possible.

Hi peap, Another way to make image more like a circle is to use a large size round brush and push scale lever to right to make a bigger brush and put brush over uneven image. you might have to practice a bit to get right size circle over old image. Good luck! p.s. my instruction for slider is for gimp 2.6. for increasing brush size in 2.8 is different. apparently you move bracket arrow upward to increase brush size. I think?
