If you need cleaner text you can alpha to select the text and create a path from that selection then use the perspective tool on the path. Then path to selection and bucket (color) fill the entire selection.

Thanks for your help.

I tried the perspective and the text didn't look so great so I wanted to try this Text to path and then apply the perspective tool.

Am I supposed to highlight the text first like I show in my image ?
When I do this and go to Layer text to image - nothing seems to happen.
