Location in GIMP 3.0.4 Linux of gmic_qt_faves.json

GIMP Version: 3.0.4
Operating System: Linux
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

I would like to test if the faves of the Windows versions GIMP 2.10.38 and/or those of GIMP 3.0.4 Clang operate in the GIMP 3.0.4 Linux.
But I don't know where to copy the gmic_qt_faves.json in the GIMP 3.0.4 Linux.

The gmic_qt_faves.json file should work, it is just a text file.

This is why I do not like flatpak Gimp The gmic folder is close to the flatpak Gimp profile.

You should look in ~/.var/app/org.gimp.GIMP/config/gmic (~ is just linux shorthand for your home partition)

Before replacing the gmic_qt_faves.json file in ~/.var/app/org.gimp.GIMP/config/gmic ,
I wanted to rename the existing file to gmic_qt_faves.json.bak but couldn't, so I copied it to a folder for backup.
Then I did as you indicated and checked. And it works.
