context menu..edit with gimp

GIMP Version: 2.7.4
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 7
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level

I lost my context menu- edit with gimp..i ended up using another program to put it back but it's not working
any one know how i can get it working again

Did you just recently install another program and choose to allow that program to open all image types?
If so change that in the other program (allow it to only open its image type), and edit with Gimp should work again.
As the association should change.

I recently did this with Chasey Draw and now my context menu said edit with IES Artist.
I went in and changed the file associations in Chasey Draw and the menu item is back.
