I have been hunting for hours, but I cannot seem to find the font used in the 'Droid' commercials... The word droid where the 'r' has two little dots under the horizontal stroke.

Have you tried WhatTheFont? They're pretty good at identifying mysterious fonts.http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/

Is this like the one you are looking for? I'd guess it's a commercial font made especially for the ads. You'd probably have to pay for it.

I made this with a combo of upper- and lowercase letters. On a separate layer I did two periods side-by-side and moved them under the r.

Thanks O. Although if you check out the droid website the font looks like it has quotation marks under the r not dots like you and i added.maybe its just my eyes. =)

Ah! I had to allow the website in NoScript. They still look like dots to me. The link to the image I put near the top looks like it has round dots, also. I dlded the image and zoomed to 1100%. The dots look more like ellipses - kind of flattened.
