Location: Retired Moderator Slowly Returning to the Living.
I am running Gimp 2.6.11 on a Windows 7 (64 bit) machine, and I noticed that drag and drop in Gimp does not work. At least not with draging a layer from one image to another, which I do frequently. I never had a problem with this on Windows XP. I looked through the preferences settings and see nothing that should effect drag and drop capabilities. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On my laptop in Win7, 64bit, I was able to drag and drop from one layer preview window into another image ok. Are there any settings I can look at for you, Greg?

I don't know. I went through all of the preferences and I don't see anything that looks off. Everything seems right, but I just can't drag from one image to another. I am exceedingly disappointed with Windows 7! :gaah
