Installed the font file in the gimp 2.8 fonts folder. Some of my other fonts work, this one does not. It's displaying and typing as a regular sans, not the fancy script it should be. It's a ttf and I've installed other ones that do work. Going over my list of fonts though, there's several others that have this issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Here's the culprit font, in case you all want to give it a try.

EDIT: Here's an update. I did some poking around and found an online font converter, changed the font to otf and it seems to be working. I will try the others in my file that have this same issue. It might be something to do with the age of my crappy laptop in conjunctions with windows being a jerk about certain things. I don't know. Here's what I experienced. (win 32, Gimp 2.8x)
Gimp does not read the fancy version from Gimp font or system font folders. Same for Scribus & Jarte, Word 2007 doesn't show it at all.
LibreOffice Writer and AMP Font Viewer will show the fancy version.
Scribus has a built in font filter, if Scribus doesn't load or show a font properly it's the fonts issue.
I ran Rothenburg Decorative with my Font Validator, extensive report attached.

Wow ok, I guess I can not make any kind of sense of that other than there's a lot of red showing up in that report. I really just don't know enough about fonts and why they do what they do to be able to make any more sense of that.

I, as a simple basic user, am just glad I was able to get it to work after it was converted. Though I'm sure this might be useful information for someone else. This font validator, is it available somewhere I can get it for free or is it a paid program?
