Hi everyone

For if it helps someone, i detail here how to fix this problem

If in Ubuntu 12.04 64 bits, the save or export files Gimp closes, the problem is in GTK2 not in Gimp
To fix this we delete the following directory located in your home directory (with Ctrl-h see the hidden directories)

Delete --> .config/dconf

IMPORTANT: This will reset the default settings of Unity and Compiz, if we had a custom configuration  we must to recreate it

It took me time to find the fix the problem for this reason I put it here in case anyone happens same thing

Its funny because I'm using gimp on Ubuntu 12.04 and have not experienced the above issue.

But thanks for the advice.

The problem only happens if you have installed some applications before gimp
But google shows that has happened to many people and always attributed to gimp bug and not a bug in gimp
