How run ZArt on Windows ???

Hi everyone!

I am new here, and also new with GIMP.

I want to work with ZArt, but I don't know where do I access ZArt within GIMP interface ...

Can ZArt run on Windows?

I installed GIMP 2.8 + unziped the Zip file contents (G'MIC for Windows 64 bits) into the GIMP plug-in directory.

I don't know about Windows, on Linux I open Zart with the command line (terminal).

Zart should find your webcam, if not try the Options menu.

IIRC Zart is just a standalone gmic. You would probably want to run gmic under the filters menu. To run Zart just go to the directory where it is and start zart.exe, but that has nothing to do with gimp.

In GIMP, G'MIC is unavailable (gray) under the Filters menu. For running ZArt alone, were can I find and download the zart.exe (for Windows)?

In order for you to be able to use GMIC, you must have a item present for it to work on. Load a picture and it shouldn't be grey anymore.

Better off to just run G'MIC through GIMP.

I get a crash every time i use ZART anyways.
