Hi all.
I'm following a couple of tutorials on using paths along with the Colors-> Hue/Saturation settings to change the color of the interior of a car panel by panel. This works OK until you try to take a yellowish beige selection and change it to black. It just comes out like a dark grey but definitely not black. Can you not get a true black by adjusting the H/S settings? If not, is there an alternate way to do this that gets a true black color?

Thanks.

You could try threshold or levels-value. Also curves right to the bottom will do it
