McGimp 2.8.2 (Native Mac Gimp 2.8.2)Brushes?

Operating System: Mac OS
OS Version: Mac 10.8.2
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

Where do I put my brushes that I download? Thanks

In Linux I put mine in /molly/home/.gimp-2.8/brushes. I am not sure where you put them in Mac.

On the Mac, if you use Partha's McGimp the right place to put them in is
YourHarddisk/Users/YourUsername/Library/GIMP/2.8/brushes/

Other versions of Gimp on the Mac can really require different locations, such as
YourHarddisk/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Gimp/brushes/

or similar paths.

Please remember that you should never have folder (directory) names starting with a dot, in Mac OSX, since the system makes them invisible, in this case.
