thanks to everybody.
To stay on the game I did "my" version too: this should work both for shadows behind and shadows in front.

thanks, my friend, but it's not MY filter, I only added a few statements to an existing nice filter, which was limited to angles 0-180.
What I did is a quick and dirty patch, glad to see it working not only for me.

You change the code, it becomes yours, and since it is yours, it should be identified as such. This is proper open source forking etiquette. If you want your mods to be part of the original version, you share them with the author.

I changed the name (also some description in the registration part), so it cannot be confused with the original one.
I do not feel enough comfortable to "release" it as my filter, as I said (I don't know whether you had a look into the modified code) I applied a "quick and dirty" patch.

I looked at the code. I couldn't figure out how to access the 'Angle'. Very sharp. Well done!
