Error Can not open JPG Files

It is O.K
I can open all my JPEG Files.

Can i Restore all my script plugins form "OLD.gimp-2.8" folder ?
Or it is not recommended ?

Yes,
you can move your scripts and other resources into the new profile folder.

I think to keep the Install version of GIMP clean without script , plugins.
I will add all script , plugins to my PORTABLE version.

Sounds like you have a plan.

You could however,
move the scripts over to the new profile as needed.
Instead of putting them all there at once.

If only a few plugins are missing in the file, it may be that they weren't installed or cannot run for some reason. For once regenerating the profile won't help much. So for me the next step is:

1) start a terminal/command prompt and navigate to the plugins directiory in the installation tree
2) check if it contains the file-jpeg executables
3) if not, case closed: reinstall
4) if yes, try to to execute them from the command line, do they complain about Gimp not there or do they die with horrible messages?

4) could also be replaced by starting Gimp with the --verbose parameter and see if there are messages about these plugins when Gimp starts.
