@tstandiford I have to agree with you somewhat. Vista four years ago I would have said yes, it's horrible and why did I do it. Now, it's not bad since they basically got the kinks worked out. Although I think they should have broke their business model and kept XP in play for another 5-6 year and then put Win7 out as Vista. Take the extra time to get the bugs out and take advantage of technology. But that's me and my ideas count as squat!

Now, I tried in XP running under an virtual machine. I got the same results as I did with XP. I'm starting to think that I have the incorrect drivers. I just choose the Graphire drivers their were ones there for 2,3 & 4. So I did the next best thing. Tech support on the tablet thats eight years old! But they can tell me the right drivers from the serial number. So I'll wait patiently.

I had a wacom graphire 3. It worked under XP and Windows 7 with the bamboo drivers (Those were the latest at the time).

You could try this: uninstall all the wacom drivers, make sure all the driver files are gone from the system, then reinstall the latest drivers from the wacom site.

If you have old drivers (especially, the ones that come with the tablet) and update straight to newer ones, sometimes the old driver files linger on in the system and cause the new drivers to glitch. I had this problem with my Bamboo tablet, uninstalling + reinstalling solved it.

While I was at work I had a return email from the Wacom tech people. And I do have a Graphire3 and they did have me install the Bamboo drivers and now it does work! Yeahhhhhhh!!

You know, sucks working second shift! *sigh* I'm just happy to have a job!
